Bridging Access to Care

Founded in 1986, Bridging Access to Care (BAC) is the first HIV/AIDS organization in Brooklyn. Formerly known as the Brooklyn AIDS Task Force, BAC successfully transitioned from an AIDS-centered organization to a multi-service community-based healthcare provider in 2012. Today, BAC provides mental health, substance use treatment, supportive housing, prevention education, healthcare coordination, and other social support services to under-served racial and ethnic minority communities in Brooklyn and other New York City parts.
