Dan Lowy
Daniel Lowy has cultivated an extensive career in social work over the past 22 years. Mr. Lowy embarked on his career with Argus Community, Inc. in November 2002, initially serving as a Clinical Case Manager Supervisor within the ACCESS COBRA Case Management Program. By August 2006, Mr. Lowy’s leadership abilities earned him the position of Assistant Director of the ACCESS Program. Later that year, he was elevated to Clinical Director of the Elizabeth L. Sturz Outpatient Center, an OASAS-certified program specializing in intensive outpatient chemical dependency treatment.
In 2010, Mr. Lowy advanced to the role of Executive Oversight Director at Argus Community and following Argus Community’s acquisition of Phase Piggy Back, Inc. in January 2012, Mr. Lowy took on additional responsibilities, overseeing three new OASAS-certified programs. His work included managing the transition and implementing new projects in collaboration with OASAS.

In May 2012, Mr. Lowy began managing Argus Community’s Ryan White HIV/AIDS Care Coordination program (ACCESS II) and the Health Home Chronic Illness Care Management program. His career continued to progress with his promotion to Vice President in July 2014 and Senior Vice President in May 2015. Following Argus Community’s merger with BOOM!Health in April 2018, Mr. Lowy’s role expanded to include overseeing BOOM!Health’s health, harm reduction, prevention, and wellness initiatives. By June 2020, he was promoted to Deputy Executive Director of Argus Community. In July 2021, Argus Community acquired St. Mary’s Center, and Mr. Lowy was entrusted with overseeing its integration and operations. His leadership extended further with his board membership at Amida Care, where he contributes to the governance and strategic direction of the organization. In April 2023, he assumed the role of Chief Administrative Officer and in July of 2024, to his current position, Chief Strategy Officer.

Outside of his roles at Argus Community and BOOM!Health, Mr. Lowy has contributed to academia as an Assistant Adjunct Professor at the City University of New York Lehman College since September 2006, teaching courses in social work practice, substance abuse interventions, and agency-based supervision. Additionally, since July 2016, he has provided Motivational Interviewing training as an outside consultant for NewYork-Presbyterian Hospitals. Mr. Lowy currently serves as Treasurer of Community Care Management Partners (CCMP) Health Home, reflecting his deep commitment to financial stewardship and organizational leadership. Mr. Lowy is also an active board member of iHealth and Engagewell IPA, further demonstrating his dedication to community-based advocacy and collaboration.
