Michael Clarke

Michael Clarke is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and program administrator with more than 30 years of experience in New York City's non-profit healthcare and human services sector. Since earning his Master’s in Social Work from Stony Brook University in 1994, Michael has held both clinical and administrative positions at several impactful organizations, including St. Vincent’s, Brooklyn Center for Psychotherapy, Bronx Lebanon Special Care Center, the AIDS Service Center of Lower Manhattan, and Housing Works.

Michael joined Housing Works in 2006 as Vice President of Case Management, and in 2013, he was promoted to the Housing Works Executive Team. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Programs, he is responsible for strategic growth, quality of care, and fiscal management across a broad portfolio that includes case management, workforce development, reentry services, adult day healthcare, transitional housing, and youth prevention services.

Since 2012, Michael has been actively involved with iHealth, playing a pivotal role in the organization’s early development. Over his 12-year tenure as an iHealth member, he has chaired multiple committees and workgroups, served as an alternate board member, and helped shape the organization’s advocacy strategy. Currently serving as the iHealth Board Chair, Michael remains dedicated to improving access to care for all New Yorkers.
